We are seeking a highly skilled Web Archive Technical Lead to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition.
The Digital Preservation Coalition is a membership organization that aims to promote the preservation of digital content for future generations.
As a Web Archive Technical Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and improving our web archiving technical capabilities to keep pace with evolving web technologies.
- Overseeing all aspects of technical operations, including annual harvests of the whole UK web domain.
- Ensuring the required technical infrastructure is in place to meet our evolving business requirements.
- Collaborating with our partners, the Legal Deposit Libraries, to ensure their requirements are fully understood and incorporated into our web archiving activities.
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the long-term preservation of digital content and making it accessible to future generations.
