Summary of the role:We are looking for an experienced Financial Modeler to join the EXL Analytics division, who will be required to manage work on client facing projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workshops / meetings with stakeholders and basis their feedback work on Redesigning and developing models in Microsoft Excel.
  • Working with Finance teams to Validate the models. Ensure the outputs are aligned as per expectations and meet the review feedbacks provided by stakeholders.
  • Once developed, work with Python Developers to transform the models from excel to Python.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Team player should be able to contribute independently and work as a part of team when required.
  • Advanced Excel based financial model development and reporting skills. Any previous experience working on VBA to automate excel models / reports is a big plus.
  • Prior experience of financial modelling, planning, and forecasting experience
  • Experience in banking products and finance operations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills along with stakeholder management.
  • Should be focused and ensure attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
