Job Title: Financial Analyst

Lowell Financial Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Regional Financial Control team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analyzing relevant P&L accounts and Balance Sheets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare or support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting
  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
  • Support the development of long-term financial strategies and plans
  • Conduct financial modeling to predict future financial performance
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
  • Timely, accurate, and efficient booking and reporting of financial transactions in relevant system(s) and according to Lowell policies and guidelines for assigned entities
  • Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and insights
  • Identify relevant and beneficial best practice from internal and external sources. Align with Lead Controllers and Management Accounts teams to agree and implement best practice consistently
Requirements:
  • Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) – exams and experience complete
  • Experience of working in a deadline-driven, multi-disciplined, financial reporting environment in a medium-sized or large organization
  • Strong knowledge of management and financial accounting principles and be well-versed in approaches and techniques, including IFRS
  • Detailed knowledge of the main Microsoft applications
  • Experience of working within the Financial sector (preferable)
