At the College we believe that our people are our greatest asset and in this role, you'll be the guiding force behind our People function.

Not only will you lead on all activities to ensure the delivery of an exceptional, customer-focused People function but you will also bring your talent for coaching and developing our fantastic people team.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful delivery of all people processes and functions ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, growth, and operational excellence.
  • Spearhead performance management initiatives to support us to achieve our vision to become an exceptional college.
  • Use people analytics to support datadriven decisionmaking and make impactful workforce planning recommendations in line with our strategic plan.
  • Drive improvements in operational processes and systems in order to further enhance efficiency and our employee experience and employer brand.
  • Inspire, motivate and coach our People team to be the absolute best version of themselves and deliver a highquality, pragmatic and solution focussed service to the college.
  • Plan and lead on the development of line management skills through the delivery of engaging training and coaching.

About you


You will be a confident, decisive HR professional with outstanding communication skills and have the ability to work at pace.

Leadership experience, passion for customer service combined with strong coaching and influencing skills are also essential for the role. Creative problem-solving, pragmatism, impeccable organisational skills and the capacity to manage a large, diverse workload are also key attributes.

We will be holding a selection process for this position on
Tuesday 19th March 2024.
