With a global reach, Caravel Foods is a leading international trader specialised in the buying and selling of french fries and speciality frozen potato products.

Job Overview


As the Business Development Manager - Potato Products, you will be responsible for driving the international trading of potato products, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining excellent customer relationships in the global market.

Key Responsibilities


Develop and execute business strategies to expand international trading of potato products.nIdentify and capitalise on new market opportunities for french fries and speciality frozen potato products.nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with global customers and suppliers.nManage and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients and suppliers.nCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of products.nStay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed business decisions.

Skills


Proven experience in international trading, particularly in the food industry.nStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.nAbility to analyse market trends and develop strategies accordingly.nExcellent project management and organisational skills.

Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.nMinimum of 5 years' experience in international trading or business development.nWillingness to travel internationally as needed.nFluency in multiple languages is a plus.
