To this end, we have opened a new subsidiary in London which will be our European purchasing center. The company has nearly 120 employees in Paris, Le Mans, London and Haarlem.


Reporting to the VP Direct Sales, the account manager collaborates with a portfolio of existing accounts to build clearly defined strategies and long-term relationships which maximize sales opportunities and exceed sales targets.

What are you going to do?nBuild, develop and grow strong and effective relationships with proactive accounts by:n

  • Supporting and developing business partners strategies, making recommendations andnproposing actions, reflective of the market and individual business models, to meet joinnobjectives, including company strategyn
  • Conduct regular meetings with accounts sharing KPIs, gaining weekly performance andncompetitor intelligence, addressing issues and identifying opportunities which supportnbusiness growthn
  • Analyse and communicate competitor activities, sharing knowledge of the market and otherninternal or external factors, which are impacting salesn
  • Work alongside colleagues in commercial and marketing to implement and drive commercialnfocus to maximize ROIn
  • Manage, through liaison with the Marketing team, promotional campaigns, incentives andnother marketing activity, to engage accounts, whilst ensuring robust ROIn
  • Be an ambassador of the business at all times, promoting the brand, sharing excellentnproduct knowledge and living the core values, enhancing the profile of the businessn
  • Identify, define, seek agreement to and implement sales development plans with accountsnto drive incremental revenuen
  • Be available to represent the business on familiarization visitsn
  • Produce weekly sales reports, with relevant data on booking trends, ensuring full analysis,ninterpretation of data and recommendation for actionn
  • Identify new partnership prospects, based on full review of their potential to generatenbusiness, seek approval to engage and work closely with them to develop sales strategiesnand targetsn
  • Represent the business at trade exhibitions, UK/overseas conferences, when required, tonenhance the company profile
Who are we looking for?n

  • 2-3 years experience of managing accounts at a head office leveln
  • Sales development experience in the travel industry and a track record of exceeding targetsn
  • Ability to build & maintain strong head office relationships at all levelsn
  • Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial acumen – ability to ask the right questionsn
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written - detailed analytical andnorganisational skillsn
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to recognize and react to changing customerngroupsn
  • Self-motivated with the mind set and flexibility to undertake extensive UK and overseasnbusiness traveln
  • Strong team player with the ability to offer ideas and interact with all departments of thenbusinessn
  • Be able to work alone & take ownership of your accountsn
  • Native or bilingual French
is required, a second European language (Spanish or Italian) is a plusn

  • Experience with Hubspot, Tableau is preferred, firm knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
