The media team at Once Upon a Time specialises in media planning and buying, providing the highest level of client service by delivering creative, cutting-edge and effective campaigns.

Our expertise is in the youth, entertainment and technology markets and our client base spreads across the video games, music, fashion, film, photography and transport sectors.


This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a talented Account Manager to join the media team focusing primarily on our video game portfolio of clients, whilst offering support across a number of other accounts when required.

Key responsibilitiesnPlanning, implementation, management & review of campaigns across digital channels (including social and performance). Planning of other channels a plus.nPrimary contact across a number of accounts, maintaining excellent client relationshipsnWorking with the Senior Account Director to build media strategiesnBeing active and enthusiastic as a media (and gaming) expert, championing work and market trendsnShowcase a genuine passion for the video games industry and understanding of audiences, IP and the gaming landscapenHelp to up sell Once Upon A Time's creative services and view the Account Manager role as an opportunity to develop into a full-service gaming expertnSupporting and being involved in new business pitches

Key Requirementsn4+ years' experience within a Media rolenExperience planning video game media campaigns (at a strategic or implementational level)nOutstanding working relationships with clients, media owners and peersnCreative but methodical approach to media planning across all channelsnConfidence in writing and presenting media strategynAbility to talk knowledgeably about media and gaming industry news and current issuesnExperience with industry planning, buying and reporting tools (ideally TGI and DDS)nHighly organised with the ability to multi-task under pressurenHuge amount of enthusiasm and a passion for media and the clients you work with

DesirablenImplementational planning experience and competency in negotiationnGood Strategic knowledge of digital, social and emerging platforms
