The Role:
nWe are seeking a dynamic, well-organized, and entrepreneurial National Account Manager (NAM) specializing in Out-of-Home (OOH) and National Convenience Group channels to join an esteemed team.
This role involves driving listings, enhancing volume, and bolstering brand recognition throughout 2024 and beyond.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in sales and account management within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, preferably with experience in challenger brands.
This presents an exceptional opportunity to join a pioneering CBD company in the UK, contributing to the disruption of the alcohol, sugar, and caffeine industries to redefine health and well-being.
As the lead within the sector, you will assume full P&L accountability and spearhead the development of medium and long-term strategic growth plans to achieve net profit and gross sales targets.
Your responsibilities will include cultivating the overall category and customer base within the OOH & National Convenience Group channel, with a comprehensive account and prospect list provided.
Responsibilities:
nDeveloping and Implementing Sales Strategies:
Devise and execute sales strategies to attain revenue and volume objectives within designated national accounts
nBuilding and Maintaining Relationships:
Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within national account customers
nNegotiating Terms and Agreements:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with national account customers to optimize profitability and establish mutually beneficial partnerships
nForecasting and Demand Planning:
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and historical data to forecast demand accurately and ensure efficient stock management for customers
nPromotional Planning and Execution:
Create tailored promotional programs and campaigns for customers to enhance product visibility, sales, and market share
nCross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, finance, and product development to align strategies, address issues, and seize opportunities within the sector
nMonitoring and Analyzing Performance:
Continuously monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities within the sector. Utilize data analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable insights.
nProviding Market Intelligence:
Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes affecting the soft drinks market in the UK. Offer insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.
nEnsuring Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, and company policies while conducting business with national account customers
nDriving Customer Satisfaction:
Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty within national accounts
nFinancial Management:
Effectively manage budgets, promotional funds, and expenses related to account activities
nStrategic Planning:
Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the soft drinks business by providing insights and recommendations based on sector performance and market dynamics
nAdapting to Market Changes:
Remain agile and responsive to shifts in the soft drinks market, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, adjusting strategies and tactics accordingly
nRepresenting the Company:
Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote brand awareness and cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders.
