MTrec Technical is proudly working with a prestigious manufacturing client in County Durham, aiding in their expansion plans. They are seeking a permanent Project Logistics Controller to join their team.

If you are experienced in an Engineering/Manufacturing discipline, seize this chance to progress your career.

Our client is a key international player in their specialized industry and distributes quality products globally.

If you possess knowledge in logistics concepts including JIT, FIFO, AGV, VSM, and have at least 3 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing/engineering, then don't miss out on this opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Define the logistic concept
  • Ensure efficient supply/delivery system in the plant
  • Analyze BOM and create material Flow of the project: VSM
  • Collaborate on logistic flow of line components and define the line side
  • Manage packaging design and manufacturing
  • Control supplier stocks and inventories
  • Supervise plant stock and lay out
  • Maintain communication with project team
  • Provide clear status reports and escalate roadblocks
  • Manage logistics database and lead logistic lay out workshop
  • Follow safety protocols

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar function
  • Time served Apprentice or Graduate in related Engineering discipline
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Lean management
  • SAP experience is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in English language
