Contract Overview: Title: Commissioning Engineer Sector: Water Treatment Location: Inverness & Highlands (Travel & Accommodation provided) Contract Length: 6 months (rolling contract) IR35: Outside Rate: £400pd +What Are We Looking For?The projects are ICA focused, so will involve Mitsubishi, Rockwell, and Siemens PLC's. You will undertake Control, Instrumentation and Electrical works - including installation, testing, commissioning, and fault finding within new and existing MCC's, industrial instrumentation, analysers, motors, actuators and all other equipment used in the automated control systems within the Water Treatment industry.Some of Your Key Duties Include: · Provide a flexible approach to resourcing all commissioning requirements of various projects · To support the project team by developing commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements and risk assessments · Monitor standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained · Attend FAT activities and provide constructive input with regards to system controls · Carry out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation and Control Systems including MCC's and associated field equipment · Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams and P&ID's · Complete commissioning documentation · Participate in HAZCOM activities for various projects as requiredWhat Do You Need? · Extensive Commissioning Engineer experience within the Water Sector. · Experience of iMCC's including VSD's, Softstarts and Flow, Level, Pressure and Temperature instrumentation · Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites. · Experience in FAT, SAT testing and fault finding · Experience in telemetry end to end testing · Profibus, Installation and Commissioning Certification
