We offer great benefits, flexible working and all the training and support you need to kick start a rewarding career in Social Care.

About the role
The role of a Support Worker at Advance is as varied as the customers we work with.

You could find yourself supporting someone to carry out day to day tasks like administering Medication, budgeting, shopping, cooking, personal care, cleaning and accompanying customers to appointments.

You could just as easily be helping someone to realise their ambitions to go to college, develop their art or music skills, get a job, or go out clubbing

What is certain is that you'll get all training and support you will need to get to know your customers and develop the skills and confidence you need to carry out your role effectively.

It's a great place to progress too: lots of our Support Workers have gone on to be managers, and some have moved into roles in other areas of our business.

Once you're with us, there are genuine opportunities to learn, develop and build a long and rewarding career. Equally, there is the chance to work flexibly, fitting your role around your other life commitments.

About you
Ideally you will have previous experience in Autism, complex mental health, and co-morbid mental health conditions. The most important qualifications are your values, your passion, and a determination to make a difference to someone's life.

You'll also need to be:

  • Flexible to work on a rolling rota
  • Good at working on your own and in a team
  • Excellent at communicating with people
  • Able to complete good quality support records
  • Willing to learn
