About the Role
As a Health and Social Care Coach, you will bring your skills and experience to support and mentor care professionals, helping them achieve essential qualifications. You will receive full support to transition from caregiver to coach and gain further industry qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with learners at their place of work to deliver the apprenticeship framework.
- Provide support, guidance, and motivation to help learners achieve career-building qualifications.
- Assist learners in developing transferable skills (in Maths and English) if needed.
- Manage your own administrative tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Health and Social Care Qualification or above.
- Current, extensive, and relevant vocational experience.
- Experience in a senior care role.
- Expertise in Dementia, Learning Disabilities, and Adult Health and Social Care Settings.
- Experience working in high-demand environments, meeting targets and tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and self-motivation skills.
- Experience working autonomously.
- Experience in the WBL/education environment.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (C or above) or equivalent key skills.
