Overview

We're looking for driven, passionate, and knowledgeable individuals to develop the data offering and the team at Sleeping Giant Media, as well as work closely with key clients to deliver strategies to an exceptional standard.

We want individuals who are passionate and have an aptitude for all things Data and Tracking related. You will have experience in analytics and an extensive knowledge of measurement techniques.

About The Role

The Role:

  • Work with the team to interpret client needs and develop data strategies to meet required objectives.
  • Collect and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms.
  • Develop measurement plans and complete data audits to support the teams.
  • Implement tracking scripts through Google Tag Manager and provide guidance to developers.
  • Provide consultation and strategy on UTMs and syntax.
  • Build bespoke reports and dashboards using Google Sheets, Supermetrics, and Data Studio.
  • Running ad-hoc analysis to analyse, reconcile, and interrogate data

The Person:

  • Advanced experience in analytics packages and tools including, but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Google Analytics certified.
  • Extensive knowledge of measurement techniques.
  • Experience with and/or passion to learn tagging techniques.
  • Understanding of digital marketing acquisition and attribution channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience with Google Analytics and Marketing Platforms
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage your own time, and your own workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for explaining complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • A team player

Requirements:

  • +2 years of experience as a data analyst, scientist or similar role in a fast-paced and quantitative environment
  • Comfortable in using data tools and languages such as Tableau, Python, SAS, SQL, R
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimise campaign performance
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, project management, and time management skills.
  • High-quality written and spoken English (equivalent to standard of B grade or higher in English Language GCSE).
  • Freelance, independent contractor status with the ability to work remotely.

The Team:

The Client Services Team is made up of people from different walks of life, who all share the common goal of exceeding expectations for their clients. They are responsible for designing unique and highly technical strategies for their clients to achieve higher levels of engagement and ROI through search engine optimisation and paid search.
