Part-time, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9.00am to 5.00pm

Salary:
£16,264 (FTE £27,107), 29 days annual leave (pro rata), Westfield Health and other benefits.

We are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant to cover maternity leave for at least 9 months.

This role is based at our Head Office in Whiston, Rotherham, and home working is not available for this role.


This role will support the HR Manager and provide administrative support to the organisation across all areas of HR along with a shared responsibility for some reception duties including answering the telephone and dealing with incoming and outgoing post.


The role is responsible for the administration and system update of new starters, leavers, contractual changes, car user details, administering employee absence and other general HR administration.

This role is also required to assist with the administration of the organisation's pension and health scheme.


You will also need to conduct exit interviews, prepare references, process leavers, and ensure prompt and accurate information is shared with other departments such as IT and Payroll.


You will need experience of working in a HR administration/assistant role particularly with reference to recruitment and selection but also wider HR areas including leavers and employee absence.

Good IT skills are essential including a good working knowledge of Microsoft software and you will need to be an excellent communicator with a professional and helpful telephone manner.


You must have excellent organisational skills with a good attention to detail and ideally have experience of advising managers and employees on company policies and procedures.
