Assistant / Executive Assistant to CEO

As Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing effective administration support to the organisation, including support to all aspects of the HR function, PA duties to the CEO and governance administration to the Board.

Being a key holder with some responsibility for security of the building will form part of this role.

As well as being able to undertake the different duties required, the successful candidate must be able to work alone or as part of a small team, communicate effectively with users of the building and have a keen eye for detail and a robust approach to data protection and confidentiality.

The ability to prioritise and manage workload whilst maintaining a flexible approach to respond to urgent requests will be a key requisite of the successful candidate.

Voluntary Action Rotherham (VAR) is the lead body for supporting, developing and promoting the voluntary and community sector in the Rotherham Borough.

Our role is to support and develop effective action to bring about positive change in the lives of individuals and communities in the local area.
