To join a dedicated and diligent team in St Albans, Randstad is presently searching for a Teaching Assistant who is energetic, composed, and organised.

You'll be responsible for helping the classroom teacher with various tasks including preparing lesson plans, grading papers, and providing one-on-one support for individual students who may need extra assistance.

You'll also help to maintain a positive and productive learning environment for the students.

  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all children
  • Working with small groups and 1:
  • Have a flexible approach and ability to adapt resources on the spot
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations and Maintain discipline

  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • Experience working with children or young people with additional care needs
  • 2 recent professional references
  • Experience with behaviours that are challenging
  • A calm & caring personality
  • A strong and resilient personality and commitment to pupil's development
  • Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
  • Team Teach trained or willing to attend training
