Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful Hertfordshire school.

The part-time HLTA role will start in September and last until the end of the academic year at which time you will have the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.


This diverse and welcoming St Albans school are committed to ensuring parents and carers are actively engaged with their pupils learning.

The headteacher is looking for a Primary Teacher who has experienced working over several year groups and is confident they can build relationships with multiple classes.

This PPA role is a popular post that will require a HLTA with strong behaviour management.

As one of the HLTA's, you will be responsible for:
**Covering a variety of lessons across KS1 and 2 year groups

**Teach quality lessons that have already been planned but do promote progression
**Encourage pupils engage with learning through targeted questioning
**Establish positive relationships with parents and carers
**Provide a caring and supportive learning environment.

We are looking for applicants who:
**Have strong TA experience and ideally a HLTA qualification although not essential

**Is committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
**Is motivated, energetic and fun
**Has excellent communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
**Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
**Can commit to working 2 days till the end of the academic year
