Location: Hertfordshire, UK

Job Type: Temporary-Permanent Contract

Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only

Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £85 - £100 Per Day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with students to provide support in managing challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role will involve implementing behaviour management strategies, assisting in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans, and supporting students in their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support students with SEN
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans
  • Support students in their social and emotional development
  • Work closely with students to provide support in managing challenging behaviours

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural difficulties
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in behaviour management or special educational needs
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting
  • First aid certification
