This job opportunity is perfect for a versatile, proactive individual who can work independently to support two different work streams within the CRO Office area.

About the role: You will assist the Head of CRO Office and the Project & Planning Lead in their specific work streams, requiring flexibility in your approach to work.

Head of CRO Office work stream: In this part of the role, strong communication skills are key. You will need to interact with internal teams and individuals to provide guidance on requirements, expectations, and processes. This also involves collaborating with the CRO Office team and other organizational teams to ensure everyone is aligned with the main message and to communicate KPI targets/success effectively. You will need to compile committee packs with all necessary information to ensure smooth risk function operations.

Project & Planner Lead work stream: Your tasks will include creating clear and logical business cases to ensure effective and transparent communication, enabling successful resource management, planning, and continuous improvement within the risk function.

Other responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate members are present for relevant agendas
  • Participate in recruitment activities, such as drafting job specs, scheduling meetings, and attending briefings
  • Coordinate quarterly staff meetings
  • Manage stakeholders, handling up to 15-20 individuals

Experience/Skills required:

  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Effective stakeholder management abilities, capable of addressing challenges
  • Facilitation skills to bring people together regularly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Previous experience in a risk function is highly desirable
  • Strong administrative skills - creating clear documentation, fulfilling company secretary duties within the risk committee, and preparing committee meeting packs
