Salary:

The payment rates for this role are a shift retainer of £29.92 Monday - Friday, £39.36 Saturday and Sunday, plus additional attendance payment of £46.50 per case for up to 3 hours, you can then claim over time on a case after the 3 hours of £15.50 per hour.



Rota Patterns : 24/7 rota. 9am-5pm, 5pm-1am and 1am-9am.

The role of Crisis Worker is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required. Acting as the advocate for patients who attend the centre, you will empower service users to feel in control and be able to support during the forensic to manage patient care pathways.

Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities will include:

1st point of contact for service users

Support process of an service users and their family visiting the centre, including preparing the patient and assisting in the collecting of forensic evidence

Ensuring that a high standard of DNA anticontamination is maintained between forensic cases (cleaning)

Assisting patients and liaising with other agencies regarding the management of the service user pathway

Assisting with preparation, service user support and acting as an advocate during their time at the SARC

Be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network.
