About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Vision for Education - Kent. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will work with children with additional needs, including ASC, PMLD, MLD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support groups of children with additional needs in a primary school setting
  • Work one-to-one with pupils to adapt to their needs and make their time in school beneficial and productive
  • Monitor and manage triggers and signs of unease in pupils
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to provide a nurturing and supportive environment
Requirements
  • Recent experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play, or care setting
  • Enhanced DBS check and registration on the Update Service
  • Salary dependent on experience, training, or qualifications
