My London Market client is seeking a Senior Change Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role

The company is currently executing a foundational portfolio of projects aimed at enabling transformational change through technology.

As the business embraces this portfolio of IT change, it will require support to ensure it realizes the benefits brought by the changes.

To bolster the implementation of our portfolio, we need an experienced Change Manager who can assist the business in navigating the impacts of the changes. Supporting our people during these transitions is crucial as we prioritize our employees, and we seek a professional who can collaborate with the HR and project teams to ensure positive outcomes for individuals and the business.

Key Accountabilities

Operating Model

  • Collaborate with the business and the project to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the impact of technology changes on the operating model and individuals.
  • Guide the business in contemplating the operating model modifications necessitated by the tech changes, ensuring consideration of the broader operating model.
  • Partner with the HR Change team to ensure comprehension and acknowledgment of people-related changes and provide appropriate support to those affected by the operating model alterations.
  • Work with the project training team to ascertain and fulfill training requirements effectively and in a timely manner.

Communications

  • Devise a targeted communications plan to transparently convey changes.
  • Establish a network of individuals within the organization who can understand and communicate the changes to ensure teams stay informed about progress and impacts throughout the project. Enhance the network to ensure clear communication of necessary information.
  • Identify and document success stories for relevant support during changes.
  • Collaborate with internal communication teams to develop and deliver relevant communications promptly.
  • Liaise with benefit owners to guarantee clear and reflective benefits outcomes aligned with phased delivery. Ensure effective communication and comprehension of benefits.
  • Evaluate benefits, especially during phased implementations, and ensure continuous project support for expected benefit outcomes.
  • Work with internal communication teams to appropriately communicate benefit stories.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience in supporting change management within a major financial services organization, preferably a London Market insurance firm
  • Experience in collaborating with teams and individuals affected by organizational changes
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong relationship management skills and adeptness in working with senior managers within a complex, fast-paced organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work in highly confidential environments
  • Capacity to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to commute to London
