You will collaborate with our Incident Management, Problem Management, Installation & Upgrade team, and our System Integrators from Delivery team, commercial and services teams in the business unit.

In this technical position, the systems integrator will be responsible for leading the integration incident support for various Healthcare Digital products and will be part of the Customer Care team in Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Incident and Problem Management teams to ensure Interfaces incidents / issues using GE's and Customers' Integration Engines or other solutions to receive and process HL7, DICOM, XDS, etc. messages and modality worklist
  • Troubleshoot test interfaces
  • Work directly with Healthcare customers and third parties on troubleshooting efforts on hospital workflow and interface environment
  • Continuously strive to improve GE and Customer System Integration solution stability and performance
  • Support development and improvement of interface tools, products, process, and services offerings
  • Work in a crossfunctional organizations and suppliers to take the interface for Customer Products to the next level of performance and functionality
  • Required to multitask on multiple incidents and ability to prioritize critical incident support
  • Work with peers to identify/resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integrations
  • Engage with customer across Europe to solve incidents and problems related to existing customer environments.
  • Work with other members of the the Services organization across Europe for knowledge sharing
  • Follow the processes for Incident and Problem management
  • Open to work afterhours and weekend to support & resolve Critical incidents

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science, and relevant experience in Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated success in working with customers, vendors, and in crossfunctional teams
  • Demonstrated working knowledge with databases
  • Experience in Healthcare IT technologies, either Imaging (PACS, RIS...) or clinical systems (EMR,EHR,..), standards (IHE profiles, DICOM, HL7..), workflows and healthcare environment
  • Travelling required from 10% to 20%
  • Ability to work remotely and independently

Desirable skills:

  • Solid experience desirable.
  • Strong process orientation, problem solving & troubleshooting skills and a firm commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication skills ability to interface and influence at multiple organization levels
  • Working knowledge of clinical/radiology/cardiology workflow
  • Experience with the Orion Rhapsody or Cloverleaf Interface Engine
  • Experience working with SQL, Java, VB, TCL, ORACLE, Unix, Vbscript
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
