Are you the one? We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head our newly established Incubator Division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in venture capital, technology leadership, executive management, or similar roles. The Head of Incubator will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our incubation program, identifying and nurturing promising blockchain projects, and providing strategic guidance to help them thrive in the market. If you possess a deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, particularly Ethereum, Starknet, and DeFi, and have a proven track record of identifying and nurturing high-potential startups, then we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Nethermind incubators initiative, identifying and selecting the most promising future founders with the vision and drive to build successful blockchain companies.
- Guide each incubation team, providing a clear roadmap, budget management tools, and comprehensive support from various groups within Nethermind.
- Cultivate a stimulating and collaborative environment where incubator teams can thrive and translate their innovative ideas into reality.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including VCs, legal teams, and finance departments, to ensure the smooth operation of the incubator program.
- Continuously assess the industry landscape to identify new opportunities and strategic partnerships that benefit the incubator and its ventures.
- Deep understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, with a specific focus on Ethereum, Starknet, and DeFi.
- Experience identifying and nurturing high-potential startups, ideally within the tech or blockchain space.
- Adept project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards success.
- Entrepreneurial experience: First-hand experience in founding, scaling, or exiting a successful startup, particularly in the blockchain or technology sector, would provide valuable insights and credibility when mentoring incubated projects.
- Global perspective: Experience working with startups and stakeholders across different geographies and cultures would be valuable in identifying and supporting projects with global potential and navigating cross-border collaborations.
- Technical expertise: While not a mandatory requirement, a strong technical background in blockchain development, distributed systems, or related fields would enable the Head of Incubator to better assess the technical feasibility and potential of incubated projects.
