The Role
This is a unique opportunity to create market-leading technology solutions, playing a key part in Vodafone's future strategy. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for identifying, incubating, and embedding innovative technologies to secure Vodafone's market leadership in digital solutions and future technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a catalyst for innovation, across both our existing product portfolios and in identifying areas for future investment.
- Continuously monitor the external competitor, technology, customer, and partner landscapes for potential opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to collaborate with external partners/alliances in order to generate and incubate innovation concepts.
- Leverage our UK and Group Technology, Sales, and Product teams to identify and prioritize opportunities by potential value.
- Incubate selected innovation initiatives, driving the creation of Proof of Concepts and monitoring success and ROI.
- Work closely with the product team to identify experimentation and innovation opportunities, and in turn embed these into Commercialization for UK Opco.
- Work closely with UK Sales, Commercial, and Product teams to identify innovation opportunities, and drive their adoption into BAU NPD's.
Requirements
- An open and curious mind, with the ability to make connections others don't see.
- Experience in the design/architecture, implementation/delivery, or technical support of complex networking solutions involving services beyond basic mobile or fixed connectivity.
- Experience of/exposure to product management and proposition development.
- Commercial mindset and customer focus is key.
- The ability to create high-quality documentation, including requirements capture and management, problem definition, design schematics, and test plans.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
