Our Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Services Support Team Leader to join us in London. The main focus of the role will be to support all elements of the Services Support Team.

You will act as Line Manager and central support lead to deliver administrative reporting and support activities within the GTS Services organisation.


A key requirement will be to collaborate across the Services team as a centralised consistent lead for all administrative, operational and contractual tasks.


This role will be predominantly office based, working 4 or 5 days a week from one of two offices (Waterloo or Palestra).


Key Responsibilities:
You will be a pro-active, highly organised and diligent team leader, with responsibilities to include, but not be limited to:

  • Interaction with, support and management of Service Centre Assistants
  • Support cover for the Operational Rosters in staff absence
  • GTS Timekeeper for Services
  • Timesheet amendments & maintenance of Oracle rosters across all Services contracts, projects and portfolios. Manage the closure of the missing timesheet as required
  • Monthly overtime reconciliation
  • Ensure maintenance, planning and resource requirements for the Connect contract and other Services contracts are met
  • Use the Railsys operating system to book station and track access. Planning entry into specific sites where required
  • Booking entry into LUL office buildings, liaising with contacts at building and providing them with access forms and any documentation they need to gain access
  • Support the administration of the Technical Services Catalogue
  • Management of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders as requested. Champion as the procurement process (Iproc) guru for the Services team
  • Review and monitor calibration
  • Act as an intermediary with the GTS Competency Manager for training needs as required
  • Support on laptop management
  • Business reports, Weekly Performance review, Weekly Contract Variations, Periodic Dashboard
  • KPI reports
  • Not limited to Operations &Maintenance and Battery Issues Register
  • Overtime reporting
  • Monthly Periodic Performance Report (PPR) stats including the airwaves PPR stats
  • Chasing of fault status with LUL when access to a site is restricted
  • Acting as a point of escalation and dealing with any issues that have been raised by the team
Technical Skills and Experience- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages- Competent at data presentation & reporting- Previous line management experience- Working within a busy administrative/operational environment- Experience in the planning and support environment

Human Skills- Methodical and highly organised approach to workload- Ability to work to deadlines and manage workload efficiently- Dual aspect approach to working both independently and collaborating as part of a wider team when necessary- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels- Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications:

  • Maths & English Language at GCSE grade 'C' or above
