Changeworks has over 35 years' experience in delivering high impact solutions for low-carbon living. We workcollaboratively with partners, organisations and householders to drive transformation in energy efficiency andto tackle fuel poverty. An opportunity for a Senior Consultant has come up in our busy and growing consultancyteam.

This role is based within our Consultancy Team and will report to the Principal Consultant. The team work across thesustainability agenda for internal and external clients. They specialise in energy efficiency, heatdecarbonisation and renewables in the built environment, fuel poverty and pro-environmental behaviour change. AsSenior Consultant you will grow Changeworks involvement in the low carbon energy transition, making a tellingstrategic contribution and developing and delivering related service, project and business opportunities.

You will develop and deliver services that build on building data analysis and incorporate best practice in energyefficiency retrofit, low carbon heat and wider energy systems to decarbonise homes. Identifying and developingbusiness opportunities and securing work for Changeworks and the Consultancy team will be a key aspect of thisrole.

Using your project management skills you will manage the delivery of high quality services and projects. You willallocate work, lead, oversee, monitor and sign off on the work of the team. You will manage projects, ensuringthey achieve their aims and objectives and are delivered on time and to budget.

You will have at least 3 years' experience delivering in a relevant professional and/or project management role.Experience of working in a relevant environment is also essential (e.g. academic, business, technology orcommunity).

You'll be joining Changeworks at a very exciting time as we continue to drive forward our strategy to help us scaleour work and achieve our ambitious goal of decarbonising homes across Scotland.

We also work in our communities with volunteers who provide vital support to themost vulnerable in an attempt to prevent homelessness. We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident communicator for the new role of Corporate and Community FundraisingManager to increase awareness of our work and develop new funding streams from individual, community andcorporate partnerships.

You will be a creative, organised and motivated individual with a positive track record in working independently todevelop corporate and community funder relationships.

Working alongside our Communications Manager, Trusts and Grants Fundraising Manager and Leadership Team you willdevelop an engagement strategy to help increase awareness of our work and raise vital funds to support ourorganisational development including the creation of new permanent homes for individuals with long-termexperience of homelessness.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing corporate partners
  • Developingopportunities to deliver training to corporate staff and organising volunteering activities
  • Working withstaff and volunteers to develop and implement community fundraising opportunities including sponsorshipactivities and local events
  • Organising events for key stakeholders to increase Rowan Albaprofile
  • Managing relevant KPIs and appropriate CRM system for all individual and corporate fundercommunication and outcomes

Core competencies

  • Experience in relationship building and delivering long term funding support from a variety of sources
