Role Overview:
As a Fitness Manager at The Gym Group, you will assist the General Manager in effectively running the gym and act on their behalf when needed. You must have a strong passion for fitness and a willingness to embrace our members, teams, and culture. Upholding our company values and supporting others in doing the same is key.
Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Overseeing member engagement to enhance member satisfaction scores.
- Managing and leading the fitness trainers team, inspiring them to excel daily and embody the gym group values.
- Owning the Group Exercise program by creating the class timetable and enhancing the team's skills for execution.
- Having a results-driven mindset to boost the gym's commercial performance.
- Ensuring high operational standards through efficient management of cleaning and maintenance procedures, including overseeing 3rd party suppliers.
- Ensuring full compliance with company Health & Safety policies and conducting regular checks.
- Assisting the GM with on-site administrative tasks such as scheduling, time tracking, and security checks.
- Serving as a keyholder for the gym to support the GM in emergencies.
- In addition to your employed hours, you can work as a PT in the gym, manage your own time and business, and keep 100% of your earnings without an annual license fee.
