About the team
You will be working for an 'Outstanding' rated Independent Fostering Agency with an established therapeutic led approach. You will be responsible for ensuring that the child's care and development needs are met by undertaking necessary placement management, planning and intervention, and includes completing parenting assessments for parent and child placements as well as supporting foster carers in understanding the developmental trauma needs of children and guiding them in how to care for children who present challenging behaviours.
About the role
You will need to have a Social Work degree and previous experience within Fostering or Adoption would be highly desirable. A background in Child Protection, Children in Need, Looked After Children, or Leaving Care would also be considered. You must be willing to participate in the out of hours service on occasion.
