Orridge is a trusted provider of stocktaking solutions with a reputation for outstanding quality. We deliver accurate and cost-effective retail stocktaking services and supply chain solutions to a strong, nationwide customer base.

We operate throughout the UK and mainland Europe, we provide tailored stocktake and supply chain solutions to a range of key market sectors.

We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager who will have responsibility for the HR and Administration Teams within the Organisation. The role will report into the Managing Director. An ideal candidate would be someone who has considerable working knowledge and experience within a HR type function. A CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is desirable.

This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 9;00am-17:00pm, working at our Aldridge site, with the requirement to travel within the UK on an ad hoc basis.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge and ability to advise on disciplinary's, grievances, sickness, family friendly, attendance, appeals and ET claims, through to a satisfactory outcome, liaising with external bodies when necessary.
  • Ability to review, update and implement policies and provide clear direction on the requirements.
  • Manage HR Assistant and give support and guidance on HR matters. Be point of escalation and sounding board for sensitive cases.
  • Oversee delivery of support and permanent field payroll each month.
  • Support relevant line managers with recruitment and selection processes.
  • Oversee Right to Work processes for all employees ensuring all processes are fully compliant
  • Manage Admin team, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure delivery of bi weekly payroll and expenses within agreed deadlines.
  • Coach and provide feedback to empower and up-skill Senior managers to drive the business forward.
  • Take the lead on sponsorships, internments, and apprenticeships schemes when appropriate.
  • Support the Company's Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Point of contact for site facilities and ad hoc site requirements

Qualifications

CIPD Level 5 (desirable) or equivalent and/or considerable working knowledge and experience
