**Resource Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Resource Allocation**:

- Coordinate the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials to various projects based on project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Work closely with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand resource needs and priorities.
- Monitor resource utilization and availability, making adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- **Scheduling and Planning**:

- Support The Project Managers in scheduling Contractors and internal trades.
- **Resource Tracking and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, usage, and availability using appropriate tracking systems or software.
- Generate regular reports on resource utilization, highlighting key metrics and trends for management review.
- Identify opportunities for improving resource management processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for resource-related inquiries and requests from project teams and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department managers and team leaders to ensure alignment between resource allocation and project priorities.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between different departments or teams to resolve conflicts and optimize resource utilization.
- **Problem-Solving and Decision-Making**:

- Identify potential resource constraints or shortages and propose solutions to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations.
- Evaluate alternative resource allocation strategies and make recommendations to management based on cost-benefit analysis and organizational priorities.
- Respond promptly to unforeseen challenges or emergencies that may impact resource availability or project timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in resource management, project coordination, or similar roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of resource management principles and best practices, including capacity planning, resource levelling, and optimization techniques.

- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate project requirements.
