The Colas Group worldwide own and operate a network of bitumen terminals and fleet of ships, essential to ensuring secure supply of this strategic raw material for our business.
Continental Bitumen is a subsidiary of Colas which has recently invested in a new 'state of the art' bitumen terminal and blending facility at Avonmouth in the UK, which will became operational late in 2023, and currently has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Team Leader for this facility to support the Terminal Manager to oversee all aspects of the operations and maintenance of the Avonmouth Bitumen Terminal, ensuring full compliance with QHSSE procedures and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities include operations management, inventory management, quality control, supplier and customer relationships, team leadership and development.
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, you will motivate and lead a team of operators and 3rd party contractors, to meet customer needs and deliver business excellence through the achievement of business targets including QHSSE, cost, volume, and customer and staff satisfaction targets.
Looking for a team player with good time management, team leader/supervisor experience, commitment to business success, flexibility of approach, committed to continuous improvement and innovation and motivated by results.
Package Descriptiom:
Here at Colas, we offer a great total compensation package, including:
- A salary between £35,000
- £45,000 per annum, dependant on experience
