Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is the largest of Scotland's seven regional transport partnerships.

As well as running the iconic Glasgow Subway, SPT delivers an extensive range of public transport services including bus stations and subsidised bus services, manages large transport infrastructure projects and is responsible for delivery of a long-term multi-modal transport strategy for the West of Scotland.


About the Role


The Regulator is responsible for the safe movement of all buses in the bus station ensuring the continuous operation of traffic and ensuring timeous departures and for keeping all unauthorised persons/vehicles off the operational area and control any changes to bus movements within the stances and monitor and control vehicle movements and speed as well as control of parking.

Part time hours will be an average of 17.5 hours per week.


You will be expected to work at Buchanan Bus Station, however you could be asked to work at various locations within SPT's remit.

The earliest start at any location will be 06:00 hours with the latest finishing time being 23:00 hours.

You will be based at Buchanan Bus Station, Killermont Street, Glasgow.
