Reports to: Practice Director, Security Testing, Digital Trust Consulting.

Location: Home based, global role, UK or Ireland preferred.

The new role is accountable, in collaboration, for driving global strategic technical insight and solution development across the Security Testing practice.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have demonstrable network design; penetration testing and vulnerability assessment technical skills.
  • Have managed provision of consultancy services, and/or a team of consultants, including successful sales/business development.
  • Have provided organisational leadership and guidelines to promote the development and exploitation of specialist knowledge.
  • Maintained a network of recognised experts who can deliver expert advice for our client's current and future needs.
  • Have a strategic, commercial and dynamic approach.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with business level English as essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow the technical capabilities and technology strategy of the Security Testing practice. Actively contribute through content creation and delivery.
  • Gather and analyse market information and collateral to drive sales and in collaboration maximise the uptake of a broad security testing services portfolio and value proposition across various regions. To support the DTC Sales team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) where required.
  • Embed and continually enhance a technically advanced and commercially aware culture across the Security Testing practice, establishing and managing a security testing technology centre of excellent.
  • Lead and drive a culture that aligns with BSI values that champions well-being and employee growth.

Key skills and attributes:

In addition to the requirements mentioned above, you will be a skilled relationship manager; take an innovative approach to processes and be comfortable to challenge the status quo where you feel it can be improved.

You will be an approachable and encouraging people manager who is keen to derive the best for and from their team.

Travel Requirements : this role requires national and international travel on a regular but infrequent basis.
