Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of test reports, inspection reports, and factory audit reports to ensure compliance with assigned conformity assessment programs and technical regulations.
- Coordinate with approved subcontracted laboratories and inspectors to arrange testing samples as necessary.
- Work with the inspection department to schedule pre-shipment inspections.
- Select and lead factory audit teams for Type 3 or Type 5 saleem schemes, adhering to ISO/IEC 17067 and licensing procedures.
- Make certification decisions based on technical review results.
- Issue certificates of conformity, product certificates, and shipment certificates via secure platforms.
- Upload supporting documents and records to secure platforms.
- Provide technical support and answer client queries regarding conformity assessment program requirements.
- Develop product inspection checklists based on conformity assessment program requirements.
- Share customer feedback with supervisors to improve services.
- Comply with company and customer quality, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with clients for supporting documents and records.
- Review applications for conformity assessment programs using applicable platforms.
- Record application review results in file processing checklists or platforms.
- Assign authorized technical officers for technical evaluation and certification decisions.
- Draft certificates of conformity and notifications of registration via secure platforms.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Carry out special assignments based on supervisor instructions, connected to above-listed activities or resulting from company policy.
Authority:
The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable actions to carry out assigned responsibilities, consistent with sound company practices and position guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience with technical activities.
- Excellent technical understanding, good time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure, good problem-solving skills, and knowledge of MS Office.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
