Job Description

As a Technical Assessor at TÜV Rheinland, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of products. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct technical reviews of test reports, inspection reports, and factory audit reports to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical reviews of test reports, inspection reports, and factory audit reports to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with inspection departments for pre-shipment inspections.
  • Select appropriate factory audit teams for Type 3 or Type 5 saleem schemes as per ISO/IEC 17067 or licensing procedures for other conformity assessment programs.
  • Make certification decisions based on the results of technical reviews conducted.
  • Issue final certificates of conformity (CoC, CoI, TIR) or product certificates as applicable.
  • Upload supporting documents and records in secure shipment platforms or saber systems.
  • Assist clients with technical queries related to conformity assessment program requirements.
  • Provide technical support for developing product inspection checklists based on conformity assessment program requirements.
  • Share customer feedback with supervisors to improve services offered to clients.
  • Comply with company and customer quality, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical activities.
  • Excellent technical understanding, good time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, good problem-solving skills, and knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
