The company in Swindon is seeking a dedicated Trading Manager to be part of their energetic e-commerce retail team. Focused on delivering premium products at affordable prices, the aim is to move from being a well-liked brand to a widely recognized one. This role plays a crucial part in boosting revenue and enhancing the customer journey on our e-commerce platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Manage the online Trading calendar.
- Oversee product listings to ensure accurate details, pricing, and availability on e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with various teams to maintain product backlogs and user stories, and monitor inventory levels.
- Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and customer behavior to spot trends and revenue-boosting opportunities.
- Devise strategies to enhance margins and improve the customer experience.
- Optimize product placement, pricing, and promotions with insights from data analysis.
- Coordinate trading activities with marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, rivals' actions, and market changes to evaluate our e-commerce performance.
- Improve the online shopping journey through better navigation, search options, and product suggestions.
- Address customer feedback promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Generate and present regular reports on sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement to the senior management.
- Demonstrated experience in e-commerce trading and merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
- 20 days of annual leave with additional holidays based on attendance and tenure.
- Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday with a 1-hour break.
