Join our Back Office Bespoke Contracts Team in Swindon responsible for completing day to day operation of contracts, managing relationships with counterparties & market operators, and solving unique issues to ensure deals are settled accurately. We quality check control within the trade lifecycle process across Front Office (deals concluded by our commodity traders - power, gas emission certificates, renewables), Risk, Finance, Accounting and Legal. Our current focus is on process improvements and building scalable solutions to support new asset onboarding while collaborating globally to align processes and support the Back Office community.

- Perform daily checks to ensure accurate trade and process completion, including identifying and chasing outstanding payments.
- Calculate, validate, analyse, and report incomes of generating assets. (Whether wholly owned or as part of a joint venture)
- Ensure accurate and timely power settlement of bespoke contracts (including gas TSO’s) with unique factors such as technology type, subsidy mechanism and grid connection
- In addition to power, settlement calculations and imbalances, curtailment and Green Certificates
- Handle bespoke enquiries from JV / stakeholders and manage relationships effectively
- Representing the team in projects and handling non-operational tasks, including key contract information sharing and stakeholder management
- Deal with new unique/complex challenges and structure and document these so that other team members can take over
- Identify and drive process improvements within the team

- Intermediate Excel skills

**Advantageous, but not a must**
- Experience of Power & Certificates Settlement
- Understanding of transmission, balancing and market systems and services
- Development of new products in collaboration with senior team members and other parts of the business
