What It's Like to Work Here

The Cliveden Portfolio offers a dynamic environment with new challenges daily. You'll be based on Common land at the heart of the community and the wider estate of Cliveden House, a prominent National Trust property.

As one of the five Rangers in the Portfolio, your responsibilities include protecting habitats, wildlife, infrastructure, and machinery. You'll work closely with the Area Ranger, contributing to habitat conservation and access management, as well as maintaining the appearance of our sites with the help of volunteers.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll ensure that conservation efforts and outdoor experiences meet the highest standards. Building relationships in the local community is key, representing the Trust proudly and informing people about the team's work.

The role involves a practical focus on outdoor management, utilizing tools and equipment for tasks like access work, habitat conservation, and site maintenance. Safety is paramount, and you'll also lead volunteer teams and share your knowledge to inspire others.
