We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Ranger to join our team at the Cliveden Estate. As a key member of our Ranger team, you will play a vital role in the practical management of the estate and woodlands, working to make habitats better for wildlife and ensuring visitor access.
Key Responsibilities
As Assistant Ranger, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of tasks, including nature conservation, site inspections, routine practical maintenance, monitoring of wildlife habitats, supporting volunteers, and helping to deliver activities that strengthen people's connections with the outdoors. You will work closely with the Ranger team to ensure the effective management of the estate and woodlands, and will be expected to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to challenges.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the outdoors and has a strong commitment to conservation and the environment. You will need to be able to demonstrate practical experience in land, conservation and access management, and be willing to work outside in all weathers. You will also need to be comfortable working in a flexible and adaptable way, and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
