We're looking for a Trainee Workplace Coordinator to join our Facilities team based in our St James Market office in London with occasional travel to our Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill.

This role will, support the Workplace Excellence Lead with providing an excellent customer service and complete a Level 2 Facilities Service Operative apprenticeship

  • Facilities services operative (level 2) apprenticeship training course )
  • In accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) you will:_
  • Provide a professional meet and greet service ensuring courteous and warm welcoming of visitors and staff.
  • Support others through the provision of reception services, events organisation, hospitality and catering, room setup and restoration and the task specification
  • Manage customer expectations and organizational expectations.
  • Communicate with customers confidently and clearly using communication methods that are appropriate to the situation in accordance with organizational expectations.
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance or ensure that they have been carried out e.g. changing toner, changing batteries, replenishing stationary, PPM audits
  • Keep customers informed of developments, issues, and delays.
  • Identify areas for improvement in sustainable and corporate social responsibility performance.
  • Make practicable suggestions for improvements to corporate social responsibility performance.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues (e.g. security officers, cleaning operatives, receptionists, engineers and catering staff)
  • Identify risks, hazards and threats to people, property, and premises.
