UCA has recently created its new Doctoral College in Canterbury.

The Doctoral College Administrator will play a crucial role in this, supporting our students and staff in their research degree journeys.


You will support the provision of Research Degrees, including recruitment, enrolment, induction, and the organisation of academic milestones, right through to the final examination.

You will be an organised and experienced administrator familiar with academic processes, and with keeping records of student progression.


You will have the ability to work with students and liaise with supervisors and tutors across the university, as well as co-ordinating with UCA's external research degree partner (University of the Arts London) and other external bodies.

Excellent skills in organisation, documentation and communication are required, as well as good IT skills and a methodical and systematic approach to processes and record-keeping.

The pro-rated salary for this role is: £14.571 to £16,278.
