The post holder will provide direct therapeutic / psychological therapies, face to face/telephone counselling as well as offering consultation and training to team colleagues as required based on service need.

The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines (e.g. British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) and the Trusts policies and procedures.

The post holder will utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the specialised area served by the service.


The post will cover the Countywide Sexual Health Service and the post holder will provide services from the central hub and community clinics, remote working as service needs require.
