E Commerce Trading Assistant

Calling all bookworms We have an opportunity for a motivated and positive individual who has knowledge of a wide range of book genres and authors to support our E Commerce business.
This role will support the E Commerce Manager through the day to day delivery of tasks and will enable you to work collaboratively with the other members of the Retail team.
Key responsibilities
- Sorting, categorising, researching, pricing and listing of donated books on all of our E Commerce selling platforms, mainly eBay and Ziffit
- Where needed, researching donated items so they achieve the maximum value
- Ensuring accuracy of listings with high quality photography and detailed descriptions containing key search terms
- Provide excellent customer service by telephone and in person collection
Skills & knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of wide range of book genres and authors
- Experience and an understanding of how to use eBay, Amazon and Ziffit (selling and buying)
- Have a positive outlook
- The ability to communicate effectively with people, including other staff members, customers and volunteers
- Be a strong team player
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment and the ability to provide an excellent all round customer service
- Aspire to achieve and maintain 100% positive feedback
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check.
We encourage all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
