Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for securing new business within the SME/MLE market space and acting as an advocate for Exponential-e in all customer interactions and external marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales targets and develop sales strategies to increase market share and raise awareness of the Exponential-e brand and technology.
  • Advise clients on Cyber Security and networking solutions and managed and professional services that best meet their requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to drive business growth.
  • Participate in planning and preparing marketing campaigns and targeted sales initiatives.
  • Accurately forecast sales and provide regular activity reporting.
  • Assist with the mentoring of junior staff members and contribute to the company's personal development program.

Requirements

  • Consistent new business sales record within the cyber security, networking, cloud, or managed services space.
  • Knowledge of cyber security, networking vendors, and LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, and Internet and connectivity network technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to 'win trust' and sell on the quality and integrity of Exponential-e.
  • Ambitious, industrious, and aspirational mindset, with the ability to use modern tools and social media platforms to develop and nurture contacts.
  • Experience selling into the SME market and a strong understanding of the MLE marketplace.
