Haskins Furniture is an independent, furniture retailer. We are looking for a warehouse assistant to work alongside the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.

Duties include

  • Unloading furniture from suppliers
  • Furniture arriving into the warehouse needs to be put away in the warehouse.
  • Labelling furniture with the correct details
  • Loading lorries in line with the delivery manifest.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
  • Assisting the drivers as a driver's mate when needed.
  • Drivers and their mate will be delivering furniture into customers' homes which come in all shapes and sizes, so employee must be able and willing to lift heavy furniture.
  • Aid in moving furniture between sites.
  • Taking recycling and rubbish to the appropriate external disposal company.
  • If employee has the correct licences to drive Haskins Furniture's vehicles then they may be required to drive occasionally when business demand is high.

Salary:
From £10.42 per hour
