Key Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

  • Utilizing a Counterbalance forklift to efficiently load and unload palletized products from various vehicles.
  • Employing the warehouse management system and scanner to accurately receive, store, and dispatch goods while ensuring careful handling.
  • Restocking and consolidating inventory as necessary.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and equipment.
  • Completing relevant documentation in accordance with warehouse procedures, including reporting any equipment issues.

Essential Qualifications for the Forklift Operator:

  • Possession of a current Counterbalance forklift license; however, comprehensive in-house training may be available.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
