Grade:

Hours: 6.25 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks), permanent

Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.

Duties include:

  • Supervising hand washing and preparing for lunch
  • Supervising children during lunchtimes in school and on the playground
  • Encouraging children with food, promoting good manners and healthy choices
  • Assist to clear tables, wipe down and maintain general cleanliness of the lunch area
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, maintaining good behaviour according to the school's behaviour policy
  • Good social skills and an ability to communicate effectively
  • Initiative, as well as the ability to work as part of a team
  • Patience and sensitivity in dealing with children, with an ability to empathise and respond to individual needs
  • Developed the skills of Confidentiality, Punctuality and Reliability
