Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at the Radisson Blu Hotel Durham. As a key member of our Food and Beverage Service Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Food and Beverage Service Team in delivering a high-quality guest experience
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage Service Team to improve guest satisfaction and comfort
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve food and beverage initiatives and hotel targets
  • Supervise and mentor the Food and Beverage Service Team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service
  • Monitor and control costs and inventory to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, colleagues, and suppliers
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and suppliers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Experience of working with IT systems and software, preferably in a hospitality environment
