Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluation research for the Early Years Language Programme under the guidance of Principal Investigators.

• Assist in the formulation and execution of research objectives for the project.

• Coordinate extensive fieldwork data collection involving young children and early years practitioners, supported by a team of assessors.

• Ensure the quality and integrity of data collected by assessors during fieldwork.

• Provide regular updates on project progress to the research team and stakeholders.

• Effectively communicate complex information through presentations and discussions, contributing to research reports and publications.

• Document research findings and present updates on research developments to supervisory bodies in a clear and precise manner.

• Analyze existing methodologies to align with research objectives and context.

• Address challenges impacting research goals and deadlines by collaborating with the Principal Investigator to devise innovative solutions.

• Foster relationships with research colleagues and external contacts to enhance collaborative opportunities.

• Participate in the planning of research initiatives.

• Support student projects related to research methodologies and tools.

• Promote a collegial and respectful work environment that values inclusivity and fairness.

• Engage in community citizenship to support departmental and disciplinary initiatives.

• Pursue professional development through relevant training and courses.

Contract Details:

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, aligned with project funding timelines. The successful candidate will contribute to the project while developing their own research ideas and methodologies.
